Accommodation Information

Accommodation is available at the Banff Centre at a reduced conference rate of $191.43 (+ taxes) / night. Our conference rate includes accommodation, wireless internet access, parking, use of the Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation facility, breakfast and lunch at the Vistas Dinning Room, continuous refreshment breaks, conference room fees, as well as all food and beverage service charges. For any delegate who chooses to not stay at the Banff Centre, please note that there will be a daily charge of $73.50 to cover meal and conference charges. A conference fee of $80.00 per delegate is required for the 2012 CNEH conference. Please fill out your personal information on the CNEH Web Form and then mail a cheque, payable to Queen’s University, to: J.C. Herbert Emery, Department of Economics, The University of Calgary, 2500 University Dr. NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1N4

Travel Information

  • The Banff Airport Shuttle (http://banffairporter.com/) leaves the Calgary International Airport every hour during regular business hours and every two hours on evenings and weekends. Please book early for service directly to the Banff Centre.
  • There are numerous car rental options at the Calgary International Airport (YYC Car Rentals). Rental rates around the time of the conference start at approximately $57 CAD per day.
